Your account
You need an account to record rounds or join events. Keep your password to yourself, give accurate details, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You must be 13 or older.
Scores and handicaps
Handicap figures in Golf Pro Club are calculated from the scores you and others enter. They are for play among members and are not an official USGA or WHS handicap index unless we say otherwise in writing. Do not present them as one.
GPS and distances
Distances are estimates from your phone's GPS and the course data we hold. Accuracy varies with signal, device and how current the course data is, and some courses have no verified data at all — where that is the case the app says so rather than guessing. Use your own judgement on the course.
Tournaments and money
Entry fees, prize money and side games are between the players and the organiser. Golf Pro Club records scores and settles results according to the format chosen; it does not hold stakes, guarantee payouts or arbitrate a dispute over a hole. Where a payment runs through the app it is processed by Stripe under their terms.
Messages
Texts and emails are only sent if you have asked for them. See the Messaging Terms. Consent is not a condition of using Golf Pro Club.
What you may not do
- Enter scores you did not play, or manipulate a handicap.
- Use another member's account, or invite people who have not agreed to be contacted.
- Scrape, resell or redistribute course data.
- Interfere with the service or try to reach parts of it you are not entitled to.
Your content
Your scores, photos and posts remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run the service — showing your score on a leaderboard you entered, for instance. We do not sell your content.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it. Features may change, and course data may be incomplete or out of date. The service is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Ending your account
Close your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
